November 15 - 17: Christian Responders - Lumberton
Christian Responders is a ministry that is dedicated to helping disaster survivors still in need of help after media attention has subsided. We are a truly diversified group of people with several things in common: Our souls are nourished and we enjoy helping people in need. We like experiencing spiritual growth, attending church together, sharing our faith, learning from each other and the people we serve, and being the hands and feet of Jesus. We enjoy making new relationships, and celebrating life together. We work, rest, pray, talk, laugh, eat, and help God’s people in need of help. We welcome people of all ages and skills, especially retirees and families with teens.
We are currently helping flood victims in Lumberton who were impacted by Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Florence.
To volunteer or for more information contact Joe George at 704-906-0784 or jmecgeorge@aol.com, Stephanie Chadwick at 704-650-1016 or stefchadwick@gmail.com, or Ray Misiunas at 980-226-4100 or rmisiunas93@gmail.com.
